Valeria Sindimirova, a student of the school №177, took first place among the 14-17 years participants with her work on Kazan “Tsar's Dream”.
(KZN.RU, June 5). A Kazan schoolgirl won the International video contest “If you had one day in a city of world heritage...”. The results were announced on June 3 in Krakow at the XV World Congress of the Organizations of the World Heritage Cities.
The first place among the participants of 14–17 years old was taken by the video “Tsar’s Dream” of Valeria Sindimirova, a 17-year-old student of the school №177. Her work was shown on a big screen for all participants of the Congress, where leaders of historic cities and experts in the field of heritage preservation also gathered. The organizers of the competition highly appreciated the talent of the Kazan schoolgirl, who will receive not only a diploma, but also a valuable prize.
Kazan was also represented at the competition by Adila Sharafieva, a student of the KFU. In total, 28 videos of finalists from Germany, Hungary, Poland, Indonesia, Azerbaijan, USA, Austria, Iran, Portugal, Sri Lanka, Korea, the Czech Republic, Brazil, Spain, and Russia are posted on the official website of the OWHC.
