Kazan takes the first place in the rating of management effectiveness in urban districts

<p> (KZN.RU, July 27). Kazan takes the first place in the final rating of management effectiveness in urban districts. In the course of the study, both the effectiveness of the work of the management bodies and the social and economic situation in the cities were assessed. </p> <p> </p> <p> A rating was prepared by the laboratory of regional political studies of the Higher School of Economics and the Agency for Political and Economic Communications. It is a synthesis of expert assessments and specially processed statistical data. Assessments of the efficiency of the city authorities’ work are given in the rating. It is published on the website of the Agency for Political and Economic Communications. The results of the rating were also published by the financial and economic magazine “Budget”. </p> <p> </p> <p> The cities were assessed in two directions: political and administrative, in which the socio-political situation and the effectiveness of the work of government bodies were studied, and socio-economic, which included education, housing and communal services, transport, roads and urban development. The capital of Tatarstan is in the lead in the political-management direction and in the general rating. It occupies the second place in the socio-economic direction after to Khanty-Mansiysk. </p> <p> </p> <p> Tyumen is in the second place of the final rating of management effectiveness in the city districts after Kazan, the third is taken be Rostov-on-Don. The top five also included Khanty-Mansiysk and Grozny, and the second five included Saransk, Salekhard, Kaluga, Sochi, and Ufa. </p>
