Kazan entered the top 10 cities for New Year travel

Last year, more than 130 thousand tourists visited the city during the January holidays.

(KZN.RU, September 11). The capital of Tatarstan entered the top 10 cities, where Russian tourists would like to spend the New Year holidays in 2019. The first places in the rating were taken by Sochi, Simferopol, and Mineralnye Vody. Kazan was on the 10th place. Compared with last year, the number of people interested in a vacation in the capital of Tatarstan has increased, and the prices of air tickets are declined.

Reservations for flights with departures from Moscow in late December and arrival at the beginning of January on the travel service Tutu.ru from June to September 2018 were taken into account in the research.

Last year over 130 thousand tourists visited Kazan on January holidays. The city regularly takes the first places in tourist ratings. Thus, it entered the top five most popular cities in Russia for traveling on the autumn weekend. During the May holidays, the capital of Tatarstan became the most popular among tourists in the Volga region.
