Kazan will join the All-Russian action “Memorial Candle”

Residents of the city will light candles in the windows of their houses in memory of fellow countrymen who went to the front during the years of the Great Patriotic War.

(KZN.RU, June 18). On the night of June 21-22, residents of Kazan will join the All-Russian action “Memorial Candle”. They will light candles in the windows of their houses in memory of fellow countrymen who went to the front during the Great Patriotic War and did not return.

On June 22 at 10 am, a memorable event will take place in the Pobedy Park, timed to the 78th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Representatives of ministries and departments of the RT and Kazan, activists of patriotic movements, students, schoolchildren and cadets of colleges, military personnel of the Kazan garrison, as well as residents of the city, will take part in it, reports the Committee on Children and Youth Affairs.
