Kazan will join the “Great Ethnographic Dictation-2018”

<p> (KZN.RU, October 17). Kazan will join the All-Russian action “Great Ethnographic Dictation”. It will be held on November 2 across the country on the eve of National Unity Day. </p> <p> </p> <p> Anyone can take part in the dictation, regardless of age, level of education, social affiliation, religion, and citizenship. The main condition is knowledge of the Russian language. </p> <p> </p> <p> Dictation will help to know the level of ethnographic literacy of the population, knowledge about the peoples living in our country. The test consists of 30 questions that will include common tasks for all and specific to each region. The time for writing dictation is 45 minutes. </p> <p> </p> <p> It will be possible to join the event in urban areas: the KFU (Levo-Bulachnaya Street, №44), House of Friendship of the Peoples of Tatarstan (Pavlyukhin Street, №57), and online on the official website. </p> <p> </p> <p> The results will be published on December 12. On November 10, the organizers will post the correct answers on the site and analyze the most common mistakes. </p> <p> </p> <p> The “Great Ethnographic Dictation” takes place in Russia for the third year in a row. Last year, 367 thousand people joined it at 2600 sites in Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Moldova, and other CIS countries. The action in the RT was supported by about 1405 participants, reports the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the RT. </p> <p> </p> <p> The project is supported by the Presidential Grants Foundation. The organizer of the “Great Ethnographic Dictation” is the Ministry of Culture of the RT. </p>
