Kazan was awarded a letter of gratitude of the Ministry of Education and Science of the RF

Representatives of the capital of Tatarstan were invited to the Moscow International Salon of Education.

(KZN.RU, April 28). Kazan is was awarded a letter of gratitude of the Ministry of Education and Science of the RF. The award for contribution to the development of education was presented to the representatives of the capital of Tatarstan at the Moscow International Salon of Education.

The forum was held at the Exhibition of Economic Achievements from April 18 to 19. The subject of the discussion this year was “The New Ecosystem of Education”. The Moscow International Salon of Education is held annually. The chairman of the organizing committee is Olga Golodets, the deputy prime minister of the RF. Representatives of federal and regional executive bodies, state and non-state educational organizations of Russia, as well as ministries, departments and educational organizations of foreign countries take part in it. Roundtables, master classes, seminars, conferences, and other thematic events were held within the framework of the business program. On April 19, there was a Forum of heads of local self-government bodies responsible for managing education in the cities of Russia. There, Kazan was granted a letter of gratitude from the Ministry of Education and Science of the RF for its contribution to the development of education.

Kazan has a program “Development of education in Kazan for 2015-2021 years”. So, 15 kindergartens and 46 schools were repaired under the program of an overhaul of educational institutions in Kazan in 2015-2017. In addition, the number of medalists increased from 463 to 549 people compared to 2015, and 40% of the work of the Unified State Exam in Tatarstan, executed by 100 points, are performed by Kazan students. Within the subprogram of the development of additional education and upbringing, special attention is paid to the development of technical creativity of children. Today, over 7000 children in 208 associations are engaged in it, whereas in 2011, it was only 3000 in 97 sections.
