The cities plan to exchange experience in economy, healthcare, sports and tourism.
Today in the Kazan City Hall in the framework of the International Forum “Healthy Cities. Healthy Nutrition for Children” a memorandum of understanding was signed on establishing positive relations between the capitals of Tatarstan and Moldova. It involves the exchange of experience in economy, healthcare, sports, tourism and other areas. The document was signed by the deputy head of the Kazan Municipality Evgenia Lodvigova and deputy mayor of Chisinau Angela Kutasevich.
Evgenia Lodvigova addressed with welcoming speech to the guests of the city.
In total, Kazan has 56 twin cities and partners in 21 countries around the world. “They are all close to us, we are establishing relations with them and hope that after your visit Kazan and Chisinau will get a new round in development,”- said E. Lodvigova.
In turn, deputy mayor of Chisinau, Angela Kutasevich, expressed hope that today's meeting will be the impetus for launching joint projects. “We are interested in cooperation in all areas – culture, healthcare, education and others. The signing of the memorandum is an intention to cooperate”, - she said.
