Eighteen tons of tangerines were shipped from Kazan to Lisichansk and Rubezhnoye

<p> On the eve of the New Year, another large shipment of humanitarian aid was shipped from Kazan to residents of the supported cities of Lisichansk and Rubezhnoye. The main cargo was over 18 tons of tangerines. The heavy cargo with gifts was shipped under the auspices of the Good Kazan Foundation. The products for the New Year's shipment were provided by entrepreneurs from the food markets of Kazan. </p> <p> «For the fourth year, on the eve of the New Year, we strive to bring festive cheer to the residents of the supported cities of Lisichansk and Rubezhnoye. Today we are sending them 18 tons of tangerines. Over the entire period of our work, we have already dispatched 86 shipments of various cargo to Lisichansk and Rubezhnoye. Approximately 400 enterprises and organizations have joined our efforts. Together, we create good deeds — even in the most challenging times!» – noted Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan. During the cargo shipment, he wished the drivers a safe journey. </p> <p> Since October 31, 2022, Kazan has been conducted the collection of aid for Lisichansk and Rubezhnoye. During this period, over 1,626 tons of voluntary aid from enterprises and residents of the city were collected through the main warehouse and collection points. </p> <p> City enterprises and organizations are actively involved in providing support. More than 400 organizations and over one and a half thousand Kazan residents provided their assistance. The city authorities emphasize that the key principle of humanitarian work remains a strict focus on the real needs of residents of new regions. </p>
