Ilsur Metshin has visited the Kazan Gunpowder Factory

<p> Today, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin visited the Kazan Gunpowder Factory, where he inspected the production workshops, discussed staffing issues with the company's management, and also met with young professionals. </p> <p> The factory is the leading diversified enterprise of the city. It produces special, civilian and dual-use products and is Russia's largest producer of pyroxylin powder for propellant powder charges and ammunition supplies. Now the factory has a large government order and is increasing its production capacity. </p> <p> Alexander Livshitz, Director General of the enterprise, showed the head of the city the main workshops of the enterprise. In the production shop I.Metshin got acquainted with the products of the factory. I.Metshin also got acquainted with artillery ammunition testing. </p> <p> During the visit, the Mayor of Kazan discussed staff issues, in particular, the need for professionals. Now more than 2 thousand people work at the factory, among which about 650 are young professionals. “There is a need for new staff to expand production, and young professionals will be an excellent addition to our team”, - Alexander Livshitz said. </p> <p> Ilsur Metshin noted that the company has created comfortable conditions for increasing labor productivity, implementing social support programs for young workers. </p> <p> He stressed that for more than two centuries the factory has continued to improve production, strengthening the country's military power. “It is very important that young professionals work at the enterprise today. There is important task of fulfilling the government order and increasing production volumes. I am sure that with young professionals we are able to fulfill the tasks set by our state”, - I.Metshin addressed the young employees of the factory. </p> <p> The Mayor of Kazan was told about the Young Professionals project, which is being implemented for the third year in a row by the local branch of the United Russia party. It is aimed at promoting working professions, carrier guidance of teenagers and young people. In April 2022, with the support of the local branch of the party, professional skills competitions were held at the Kazan Gunpowder Factory. </p> <p> Ilsur Metshin thanked the Director General of the enterprise for his attention to this important issue, public activity, conscientious work, personal contribution to the economic development of Kazan. The head of the city presented A.Livshitz a letter of thanks and a diploma of the participant of the Young Professionals project. The best young employees and their mentors also received diplomas of the project participants. </p>
