Presently, seven residents are accommodated in the city's hotels
The Kazan Executive Committee held a meeting with representatives of the hotel industry. The Vice Mayor of Kazan Evgenia Lodvigova chaired a meeting and expressed gratitude on behalf of Mayor Ilsur Metshin to the hoteliers for accommodating the residents of houses attacked by the drones on December 21. The hotels provided accommodation for 100 people, seven of them are still staying in the hotels.

Your prompt response to our request for help was truly remarkable, and we are grateful for accommodation of the residents of damaged houses following the drone attack. I sincerely thank you for your assistance, as well as for your responsive and caring attitude», – Evgenia Lodvigova addressed to the hoteliers.
The residential buildings in the Sovetsky, Kirovsky and Privolzhsky city districts were attacked by drones. Residents were evacuated – some of them were allowed into apartments on the same day, others moved to their relatives or hotels. About 70 residents of residential buildings at 31a, 33 and 34 Klara Zetkin Street were accommodated in the hotels. Roof repairs and restoration of the heating circuit at 31a Klara Zetkin st. have already been completed, residents are returning to their apartments.
The hotels «Mirage», «Suleiman Palace», «Ramada», «Bilyar Inn», «Cosmos Kazan», «Tatarstan» and «Azimut Hotel Bauman Kazan» have all been prepared for the accommodation of residents from the Sovetsky and Kirovsky districts.
Residents of Kazan from the Manhattan residential complex have been offered to stay at the Kvart Hotel, however the utilities in their homes have not been damaged. Work has now been completed on dismantling the emergency tiles and removing unusable structures, and the housing is being inspected for damage.
The meeting was attended by Sergey Ivanov, Chairman of the Tatarstan State Committee on Tourism, and Daria Sannikova, Director of the Tourism Development Committee.
For reference, after the drone attack, the Mayor held working meetings at the sites of all the buildings affected by the attacks. The Mayor instructed to provide hot meals for residents who needed help, as well as accommodation during the repair work.
