Ilsur Metshin, Kazan Mayor, thanked them for their responsiveness. </p> <p> <b>“The medical staff of all our clinics and hospitals is working with a double pressure – we need to help them”</b> </p> <p> Ilsur Metshin emphasized that not only large enterprises, but also small companies, as well as concerned citizens, provide assistance in a difficult situation. “We appreciate everyone. This is the case when hard times reveal true friendship, – said I.Metshin. – For us, it is a matter of honor to thank everyone who provided assistance, not to forget anyone. These are the personalities of the Good Kazan. The quarantine will end, and we will come together at the end of this great work and remember how we walked this path and overcame difficulties together”. </p> <p> City hotels, hosting doctors free of charge, provide important support for medical workers treating patients with coronavirus. Rustam Gafarov, first deputy head of the Executive Committee, reminded that the Suleiman Palace hotel was the first hotel, where 25 double rooms were allocated free of charge for accommodation 50 doctors. The Nogai hotel is also ready to provide rooms for accommodation of medical workers on a free basis. While, the Olymp hotel, in addition to allocating rooms for 18 doctors, provides more than 120 free meals to the Republican Infectious Diseases Hospital every day for medical staff, the first deputy head of the Executive Committee noted. </p> <p> Such large companies as TAIF, Grid company and Nefis cosmetics, which has donated 240 tons of household products to 160 hospitals in Tatarstan, provided special clothing for medical staff, protective and antiseptic products. </p> <p> Ilsur Metshin noted that the pressure on medical workers in the current situation has increased significantly, and thanked representatives of the business community for the support of doctors. </p> <p> <b>Restaurants in the city provide catering for medical workers, and construction companies carry out repair works promptly</b> </p> <p> The city's restaurant business is also showing social activity, the first deputy head of the Executive Committee reported. For example, the Katyk restaurant provided meals for medical staff, and at Easter, baked cakes for doctors of the city's clinical hospital № 7, which treats coronavirus patients. </p> <p> “The Khinkalnaya and Hemingway restaurants also made their contribution by providing food to medical workers – said R.Gafarov. – Auchan store provides food, and Tatspirtprom potable water”. </p> <p> Construction companies, such as Gran, Remont16, Uniblock, RSS engineering and others, helped to quickly repair medical facilities and increase the number of beds in hospitals. In addition, the Neksmed and Firn N companies engaged in connecting, configuring of laboratory analyzers, while IKEA came forward with the initiative to supply furniture and bedding for medical facilities. </p> <p> “In this situation, the need for blood donors is growing. For the convenience of concerned Kazan citizens, Yandex taxi and City Mobile provided free trips for donors to the Republican blood center”, - the speaker said. </p> <p> <b>“It is a matter of honor for us to thank everyone who provided assistance”</b> </p> <p> The charity funds of the capital of Tatarstan made a contribution too, added R. Gafarov. As part of the Good Kazan project they provide a variety of assistance to those who are in a difficult life situation. </p> <p> “This includes accommodation, hot meals, clothing and food packages, making masks, and much more”, - said R.Gafarov. For example, the Yardam charity foundation organized the delivery of food and medicines by volunteers to Kazan citizens in need. </p> <p> Besides, food packages for large families, lonely people with disabilities, people in difficult situations, and lonely elderly citizens over 65 years old are delivered on behalf of the Bekhetle and Kazan Express companies, the speaker informed. </p> <br> <p> </p>
