The Kazan City Hall hosts the forum «Minsk and Kazan: Twin Cities - a New Driver of Development». The event is organized as part of the Minsk Days in the capital of Tatarstan.

«We are ambitious when it comes to everything new. Minsk serves as a good example of a thoughtful urban management, not only within the former Soviet Union but also beyond its borders. There is much we can learn from our colleagues, » - said Ilsur Metshin.

He noted that Belarus and Russia have a long history of twinning relationships. In December 2024, Ilsur Metshin and Vladimir Kukharev signed an agreement to establish twinning relations and cooperate between Kazan and Minsk.

The head of the city executive committee of Minsk expressed his gratitude for the high level of organization of the business forum and expressed confidence that hosting the Minsk Days will give a new impetus to the development of their relationship and the opening of new areas.

Meetings with representatives from Belarusian companies will take place during the business forum «Minsk and Kazan: Twin Cities - a New Driver of Development». The official delegation from the Republic of Belarus will include representatives from more than 20 companies.
