Games of the Future received an award at the Znanie Society Awards

Over 18 thousand applications were submitted for the competition from all regions of Russia and 34 countries

The international multisport tournament Games of the Future was recognized as the educational project of the year following the results of the competition of the Russian society Znanie. The results of the award were announced in Moscow. In total, over 18 thousand applications from all regions of the country and 34 states were submitted to participate in the competition.

Games of the Future was nominated for contribution to education in sports and healthy lifestyle. Nikolay Osipov, the president of the Media Football League, won in the same nomination.

The winners were determined in 19 nominations. The winners of the award were chosen by the jury and the residents of the country – more than 120 thousand people took part in the voting.

The award was established in 2021 to recognize the achievements of teachers, lecturers, authors, bloggers, science popularizers and other public figures, according to the website of the Znanie Society.

For reference, Games of the Future take place in Kazan from February 21 to March 3. More than 2 thousand athletes from 107 countries participate in the Games.
