(KZN.RU, July 8). Players of the Kazan Academy “Rubin” born in 2002 became champions of Russia. On July 7, the team of Dmitry Blagov and Radik Gadeev defeated the Moscow “Lokomotiv” in the final match with a score 3:0.

During the tournament, on the way to victory, the Rubin team played with the “Football School of Youth” from Moscow and the Yaroslavl “Shinnik” twice. Then they defeated St. Petersburg Sports School “Zenit” twice, the last time was in the playoffs. Also, the Kazan Rubin defeated “Krasnodar” and, finally, “Lokomotiv”.

The best scorer of the tournament was Artur Maksimchuk, and Viktor Alexandrov, the captain of the Kazan team, was recognized as the best defender.
