In Kazan, repair work has begun at the first 90 yards under the Our Yard republican program. In total, 464 yards are planned to be renovated. This year, 2,742 residential buildings in Kazan will have landscaped yards, accounting for almost 80% of all yards that needed repairs at the beginning of the program»,- said the Mayor of Kazan. During implementing the program, equal attention is paid to all yards, regardless of their size. This year, it is planned to renovate the yards of 464 residential buildings, with a total asphalt concrete area of about 590,000 square meters, under the Our Yard republican program. Of this amount, 3.6 billion rubles will be used for asphalt pavement repairs, while 336 million will be spent on lighting and the purchase and installation of urns, benches, and other yard equipment. The projects for the future renovations were developed jointly with residents, property management companies, and district administrations. The first meetings with residents began in December last year. For reference, last year, 459 yards were landscaped over an area of more than 500 square meters. Over the course of five years, the program has renovated the areas around 2,278 buildings, where 500,000 people live.
