<p> In Kazan, the improvement of yard territories, which were included in the Our Yard republican program in 2021, is almost completed. Yesterday, the Mayor of the city Ilsur Metshin inspected the renovation of the yard of houses No. 2, 4, 6 on Lomzhinskaya Street in the Sovetsky district, where the road surface was repaired, children's and sports grounds, hockey and football rink were equipped, trees were planted. </p> <p> “This is not our first visit to the yard in the Sovetsky district, there is a developed infrastructure here, and 2 thousand residents of nearby houses were waiting for the transformation of the yard, and finally all conditions for mothers with strollers, children and retired people were equipped here”, - Ilsur Metshin noted. </p> <p> Improvement of the yard on Lomzhinskaya Street began this summer. During the renovation, the sidewalks and the roadway were repaired, lighting and small architectural forms were installed. “The yard needed renovation, there was a broken road here, residents regularly complained about it,”- said Roman Fatkhutdinov, the head of the Sovetsky district. Trees were also planted in the yard, benches were installed. </p> <p> Half of 2 thousand residents of nearby houses are children and teenagers, so during the yard improvement, an important task was to arrange playgrounds with swings and slides. There is also a sports area: workout equipment, a set of bars for pull-ups and push-ups with a climbing frame and other fitness equipment. </p> <p> Also, a hockey rink with a rubber coating and bleachers was installed in the yard – in summer children will play football here, and in winter hockey. Yard football teams have already played a friendly match at the new sports ground. The head of the city presented balls to the children and wished them success in sports. Also, changing rooms were installed for the guys, which are decorated with graffiti. The graffiti designer wanted to draw the attention of the younger generation to the humane treatment of animals. The hockey rink, as well as the new equipped container platform, fences of front gardens and landscaping, appeared thanks to the sponsorship funds. </p> <p> Along with the improvement of the yard, the renovation of houses No. 2, 4, 6 on Lomzhinskaya Street built in 1991-1994 was carried out. The entrances were repaired, doors were replaced, as well as intercoms were installed. </p> <p> “The Our Yard program is 97% completed in 2021. This year, thanks to the presidential program, 227 yards for 430 houses have been improved, the changes will affect about 110,000 residents. It's time to make plans for the next year, discuss them with the residents and change yards and life in the in dialogue”, - Ilsur Metshin emphasized. </p>
