I.Metshin: “The design of a sports venue for children with disabilities will begin in summer”

The head of the city announced the decision on construction a sports venue for training children with disabilities.

A sports complex for children with disabilities will be built in Kazan. The Mayor of the city Ilsur Metshin announced this decision today during a visit to the kindergarten No. 109 of the Sovetsky district for special children on Zakieva Street.

It is planned to create comfortable conditions for children in the sports venue. Business representatives and concerned citizens of Kazan have already joined this work.

The head of the city called on parents to join the work, in particular, to express their requests for the proposed coaching staff and for special equipment. “Your participation will allow us to choose the right solutions at the design stage”, - Ilsur Metshin addressed the parents of the children.

This kindergarten has become a special institution. It is intended for children of preschool age, from 3 to 7 years, with severe motor disorders. The branch of kindergarten No. 109 opened in early April.

Ilsur Metshin visited the classrooms and talked with children and teachers.

The head of the kindergarten, Venera Komkova, said that the educational institution has a specialized environment. “In our kindergarten, children, as well as in a regular preschool, play, have art education classes, develop, but at the same time speech pathologists, neuropsychologists, speech therapists, physical therapy instructors and other specialists train them”, - said Venera Komkova.

“A modern city should have such kindergartens with such opportunities. We want to have several such facilities in the city, so that experienced professionals train children and adapt them, this will be a good start,”- Ilsur Metshin stressed.
