<p> A large-scale road renovation program in Kazan is being completed. This year, as many as 91 sections of roads totaling 43 kilometers were repaired. More than 2 billion rubles were allocated for these projects. One of the major sites is the renovation of S. Batyeva Street in the Vostochny residential area in the Privolzhsky city district, where new asphalt, sidewalks, and lighting were installed. It allowed making the road more convenient and safe for residents. Thanks to these improvements, one of the traffic intersections was unloaded. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin inspected the work done. </p> <p> «It was our long-standing goal to reach the villages with road repair work. This year, of the total number of roads, 91 are village roads. You have seen for yourself what their condition was before. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to install a sidewalk and lighting simultaneously - it depends on the site and the alignment of the road. However, wherever possible, we do this work. This program is truly essential. I would like to express my special gratitude to the Rais of Tatarstan for his support. Now, residents can safely drive and walk, and children can access sports and social facilities without any risk», - emphasized Ilsur Metshin.   </p>
