The experience of Kazan on the implementation of automation systems in public utilities was discussed at the meeting of Association of Volga region cities.
Today, members of the Association of the Volga Region Cities (AVC) held a seminar, where they discussed the digitalization of the housing and utilities sector. The participants of the online meeting shared their experience on implementing various automated systems in the work of housing and utilities organizations and the prospects for their development. The Executive Director of AVC Vladimir Reprintsev hosted the meeting.
Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of Kazan Iskander Giniyatullin addressed the participants of the seminar with a welcoming speech. “2020 has proved that it is necessary to be prepared for the changes and pay attention to the digitalization of any sector of the urban economy. Housing and utilities are one of the powerful tools for changing our approaches to work. Today, an active work on digitalization is underway in Kazan, which we started in the housing and utilities sector before 2011”.
Oleg Kalimov, a representative of the Open Kazan project, director of the Housing and utilities property management company of the Moskovsky district, Marat Nuriev, director of the Yutny dom property management company, and Roman Osipov, Director General of TKO-Inform, shared their experience of automation systems in the housing and utilities sector. In their reports, they noted that the implementation of digital systems for housing and utilities services allows simplifying the interaction of all participants in the housing and utilities sector and taking effective measures to respond to the needs of residents.
Igor Subbotin, deputy head of the Perm Administration, Oleg Teteryatnik, deputy head of the Volgograd Administration, Boris Chernov, deputy head of the Department of Housing and Utilities of the Ulyanovsk Administration, Vladimir Filippov, deputy head of the Cheboksary Administration and Alexey Orlov, aide to the Mayor of Izhevsk, were among the speakers of the meeting.
The meeting concluded with a decision to study the proposals on amendments to the current legislation concerning the powers of local self-government bodies, and to form a single list of proposals for improving the integration of digitalization systems in housing and utilities services.
