The State Chamber Choir of the RT will present the program “Oh, the Sea” at the GSCH named after S. Saidashev

The program includes European, Russian, and Tatar classics, estrade compositions, and folk songs.

(KZN.RU, February 27). The concert of the State Chamber Choir of the RT under the conduction of Milyausha Tamindarova will be held on March 2 at the Great State Concert Hall named after S. Saidashev. The program of the concert “Oh, the Sea” includes European, Russian, and Tatar classics, estrade compositions, and folk songs.

The State Chamber Choir of Tatarstan prepared the program for the spring women's holiday, in which all musical works will be connected with the theme of the sea one way or another. Parts from the operas “Dido and Aeneas” (G. Persell), “Sadko” (N. Rimsky-Korsakov), “Rusalka” (A. Dvorak), “Hoffmann's Tales” (J. Offenbach) will sound, as well as masterpieces of Western choral culture and musical hits of the XX century.

The Chamber Orchestra of the Youth Theater on Bulak, directed by Dmitry Chirkov, Liliya Tagirova, Ilgiz Zakiev, who was recently awarded the F. Chaliapin Scholarship, will take part in the concert.

The concert will be held in the framework of the subscription “Choral Crossover”. The beginning is at 6.30, reports the press service of the GSCH named after S. Saidashev.
