Cashless Transport project was introduced to Herman Gref in Kazan

Rustam Minnikhanov, Ilsur Metshin and the President of Sberbank tested the system in the metro and bus.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and CEO of Sberbank Herman Gref, during his working visit to Kazan, got acquainted with the Cashless Transport project by making cashless payment in the Kazan metro. The event was also attended by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.

Guests rode from the Dubravnaya metro station to the Sukonnaya Sloboda station. Here they were presented the Cashless Transport project. They tested devices for selling tokens, paying for travel using a plastic card, as well as a special biometric turnstile that allows to enter the metro without a card.

Then the guests tested the system of contactless payment in public transport-in the bus, where validators and driver’s on-board computer are installed.
