More than 36 thousand people visited the festival “Delicious Kazan”.

<p> (KZN.RU, October 22). More than 36 thousand people visited the gastronomic festival “Delicious Kazan”, which was held last weekend near the Palace of Culturologist. On October 20, 16 thousand visitors became guests of the festival, on the second day 20 thousand. According to the Kazan Tourism Promotion Committee, more than 12 tons of food were eaten at the festival and over 3 thousand liters of drinks were drunk. </p> <p> </p> <p> Guests were offered a busy program. More than 50 leading restaurants and cafes of the city presented their best dishes and drinks. A competition was held at the festival among the chefs of the city. A new original dish “Delicious Kazan” was developed specifically to treat the 3 millionth tourist who will visit Kazan soon. The winner was Ilshat Shakirov, the chef of one of the restaurants of the city “Buffalo”. </p> <p> </p> <p> The Alley of Farmers worked at the festival with the participation of more than 15 manufacturers of unique farm products from all over the country. In addition, a concert program and a show were organized. Russian and foreign bloggers, dance groups, special guests and representatives of the restaurant industry of the city took part in it. There were master classes and photo shoots organized by cafes and restaurants near the food outlets. Also, there was a popular vote for the title of “The Most Delicious Restaurant in the City” and "The Favorite Farmer”. The youngest visitors could play at the children's area with attractions, educational and entertainment stands. </p> <p> </p> <p> The festival “Delicious Kazan” is the main republican gastronomic event. It presents national cuisine and leading concepts and projects in the field of public catering in Kazan. In 2016, the festival was visited by over 20 thousand people, in 2017 over 50 thousand visitors, and in the spring of 2018, over 25 thousand guests visited the event in two days. The festival is supported by the Kazan City Hall and the Committee for Tourism Promotion. </p>
