The festival of direction “Remeslo” will be held in Kazan from 2 to 9 of December

17 performances in the Tatar and Russian languages will be shown at six venues.

(KZN.RU, October 9). From 2 to 9 of December, the Tenth All-Russian Festival of Young Tatar Direction “Remeslo” (Rus. “Craft”) will take place in Kazan. Representatives of theaters and directors from Bucharest (Romania), Moscow, St. Petersburg, Ufa, Izhevsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetyevsk, Buinsk, and Kazan will gather in the capital of Tatarstan.

A festival is an opportunity for participants to express themselves and demonstrate their talents. Performances staged by directors under the age of 35 or by those who debuted in the profession during the last 5 years are allowed to participate in the festival. Viewers will see 17 performances in the Tatar and Russian languages. The premieres of these productions took place during the last two theater seasons.

The “Remeslo” venues in Kazan are the following: the Great and the Small Hall of the TSAT named after G. Kamal, the Theater named after G. Kariev, the Theater of the Young Spectator, the creative laboratory “Ugol”, and the building of the former central registry office.
