A total of 160 events- master classes, children's performances, sports competitions and festive concerts – were attended by 451 thousand residents and guests of the capital of Tatarstan in 18 city public spaces. By the New Year, a holiday decoration appeared at 18 public spaces, at 10 of them were installed New Year’s trees. Special decoration appeared in the park Black lake, - said M. Zakirov and added that this year holiday decorations first appeared at the Lyadskoy garden, on the boulevard “White flowers”, at the park Komsomolets. In the park named after Uritsky canal lake was decorated, in the park on Mira street in the village of Derbyshki entrance lobby and a walkway was festively designed. Also, a house of Father Frost and a holiday fair have been held there. The decoration appeared at the Cube container center in Gorkinsko-Ometyevsky forest, and the crowns of trees were decorated with LED lines of the poems in Russian and Tatar languages. </p> <p> “Spending holidays not only at the festive table, but also in public spaces and parks is now becoming a good and healthy tradition," said the mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin. – We offer citizens many options, we are working very hard and tried to reflect it in the New year's design”.
