Friends of Vasily Aksyonov: "Aksyonov-Fest" preserves the memory of the writer and the time in which he lived»

<p> The style of the writer Vasily Aksyonov in literature, film, music and fashion was discussed today at the press conference dedicated to the 13th literary and music festival "Aksyonov Fest". The capital of Tatarstan hosts the fest once again and units people close to the famous writer and citizens who treasure his works. </p> <p> This year the whole festival will be devoted to the "Aksyonov-style" subject, the press conference in Aksyonov house was held in an atmosphere of friendly discussion, where speakers shared their memories of the writer and his image. Well-known musician Andrey Makarevich, author of the novels "Zuleikha opens her eyes" and "My children" Guzel Yakhina, Russian and French fashion historian Alexander Vasiliev, Chairman of the supervisory board of the festival Evgeny Popov, coordinator, member of the supervisory board Irina Barmetova, film director Evgeny Tsymbal, winners of the award "Zvezdny bilet" of the previous years and others shared their views. </p> <p> Andrey Makarevich has noted that Vasily Aksyonov had an incredible inner freedom, which was manifested in every paragraph of his books. Other speakers noted that Kazan helped Aksyonov to create his style. </p> <p> Today Andrey Makarevich will present his book "The Ostracons" in the Akyonov house. A day later, he will give a big concert "Ladies and gentlemen" with a favorite music of Vasily Aksyonov – traditional jazz 20-30-ies of the last century. Guzel Yakhina and other winners of the "Zvezdny bilet" award will participate in different sessions. The key event of the festival will become the award ceremony "Zvezdny bilet" on the stage of "Pyramid" complex. "Everything we do becomes possible thanks to Kazan and its mayor Ilsur Metshin, who was a friend of Aksyonov, "said Irina Barmetova, coordinator of the Aksyonov Fest and a member of the supervisory board. </p> <p> The festival is held Kazan till September 15. The program includes 30 events dedicated to literature, cinema, theater, fashion, painting and music. </p>
