At the weekend, residents and guests of Kazan will be able to take part in a master class in figure skating, fight in a curling tournament and join the charity event “Good Ice”. </p> <p> </p> <p> On January 12, the final free figure skating master class will be held in the park “Chernoe Ozero”. The start is scheduled for 12.20 pm. </p> <p> </p> <p> The first open competitions of the Curling Federation of the RT will be held there as well. All participants of the training will be able to fight each other, and professional athletes will help them. You must register by phone +7 (903) 061-31-81. The start of the competition is at 4 pm. </p> <p> </p> <p> The final meeting of the project “Tales in the Forest” will be held in Gorkinsko-Ometievsky Forest. Visitors will read the good winter fairy tales in a warm cozy atmosphere in the cafe “Les”. The event will start at 5 pm. </p> <p> </p> <p> On January 13, the charity event “Good Ice” will be held at the park “Chernoe Ozero” to support the free hotel “Ronald McDonald’s House” in Kazan. It allows children not to be separated fr om their parents during long-term treatment in the hospital. Guests of the park will have a bright ice show and master classes for everyone. The event will include a handicraft fair, wh ere citizens can buy crafts and souvenirs made by the hands of children and their parents, volunteers of a free hotel and Kazan designers. All funds raised will be used to develop a unique project of a free family hotel. All residents and guests of the city, who will rent skates until January 13, will also do a good deed: part of the money from rental equipment will be used to support families in difficult situations. </p> <p> </p> <p> The Old New Year will be celebrated on the site near the Family Center “Kazan”. The beginning of the program is scheduled for 1 pm. </p> <p> </p> <p> In the park “Krylya Sovetov”, the choir of St. Cecilia of the Catholic parish of Kazan will perform Christmas songs in Russian, Italian, and Latin. The gathering is near the main entrance to the park on Kopylov Street at 4 pm, reports the Directorate of Parks and Squares of Kazan. </p>
