There is no need in new sports venues are for hosting the BRICS Games in Kazan. Russia has a modern infrastructure, said Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.
“In addition to Games of the Future in February, we will host the BRICS Games in Kazan, since heads the BRICS in 2024, this is a standard format, it is closer to youth sports. It will take place in Kazan, and no new venues will be built for the competition, because we probably have the most modern infrastructure,”- RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
For reference, the BRICS Games will take place in the capital of the republic of Tatarstan in June 2024. It will be attended by about five thousand people – three thousand athletes and two thousand officials. The participants will compete in 27 sports at 17 sports venues.
The opening ceremony of the international multisport tournament Games of the Future will take place on February 21, the competition will end on March 3. They will combine 21 hybrid disciplines.
