Dmitry Chernyshenko and Oleg Matytsin have opened a phygital center in Kazan

The phygital center is located in the Universiade Village

Dmitry Chernyshenko, Russian Deputy Prime Minister, and Oleg Matytsin, Russian Minister of Sports, opened a phygital center in the Universiade Village.

“There is a phygital movement everywhere, representative offices are open in 63 countries around the world. It is symbolic that a phygital center is opened at the Volga State University, where people will develop in all areas. Such centers provide such an opportunity,”- Dmitry Chernyshenko said at the opening ceremony.

Russian Minister of Sports called the opening of such a center in Kazan a contribution to the future.

“Students have the opportunity to play sports. We said that maybe other universities should also train here. The Ministry of Sports will continue developing phygital sports in other universities,”- the Minister added.

The opening ceremony of Games of the Future will take place in Kazan on February 21.
