10 thousand virtual reality glasses are prepared for tourists in Kazan

<p> (KZN.RU, May 15, Ksenia Shvetsova). One of the most important events of the forthcoming Football World Cup will be the Fan Festival. It will take place on the territory of the Family Center “Kazan”. An unusual service will be available for guests of the city on the festival site. It is virtual reality glasses, through which tourists can visit different parts of Tatarstan, for example, Bolgar and Sviyazhsk. Sergey Ivanov, the chairman of the State Committee for Tourism of the RT, told about it today at the briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the RT. </p> <p> </p> <p> 10 thousand virtual reality glasses were prepared for tourists. They will be available free of charge provided that a person watched a video about the capital of Tatarstan and listened to the story about the city. With the help of glasses, tourists will be able to get to know Kazan, the island of Sviyazhsk, the Great Bolgar and the general video “Tatarstan: 1001 Pleasure”, which are presented in English and Russian. “An envelope will be given to the person. It will consist of cardboard glasses and a QR code. Using this code, you could follow the link and watch specially prepared videos about the tourist centers of Tatarstan, Bolgar, Sviyazhsk”, said S. Ivanov. “We hope that this will be interesting for our guests and they will tell their families and friends about our republic and will want to come to Tatarstan more than once”. </p> <p> </p> <p> More than 200 thousand tourists and guests from Russia and abroad are coming for the championship. According to S. Ivanov, many of them will come not to the matches but to see the city, visit the Fan Festival and talk with tourists from other countries. </p>
