The deputies of the Kazan City Duma approve two new municipal awards: «Pride and Glory of Kazan» and «Volunteer of Kazan»

<p> </p> <p> Two new municipal awards were approved in Kazan: the Merit Badge «Pride and Glory of Kazan»  and the Honorary Badge «Volunteer of Kazan». The initiative was supported by deputies at the 39th session of the Kazan City Duma of the fourth convocation. </p> <p> Bulat Aleyev, the Chief of Staff of the Executive Committee, announced that the «Pride and Glory of Kazan» badge will be awarded to those who have demonstrated bravery, dedication, and courage in their performance of military, civil, or official duties, particularly in situations where their lives were at risk and they contributed to maintaining public order. The award is also given to those who significantly contributed promoting Kazan on the international stage, as well as those who achieved notable successes in sports, science, culture, and other areas. Receiving this badge will be accompanied by a one-time monetary payment of 75,000 rubles from the city's budget. </p> <p> The «Volunteer of Kazan» Badge will be presented to citizens who engage in volunteer work aimed at solving socially significant issues, as well as for those who have made a significant contribution to the development of charitable and volunteer activities in the city. The awarding of this badge includes a one-time monetary payment of 50,000 rubles. </p> <p> If the awardee passes away, their heirs will be entitled to receive the award, related documents, and a monetary payment, as reported by Bulat Aleyev. </p> <p> </p>
