“This event is not intended to give a grade. Total dictation is an educational event, and it has a gentle mode, only best results are announced. The task is not to conduct an exam but to make sure that the participant takes up self-testing, check the written language”, - Irina Alexandrovskaya, chair of the republican Expert Council of teachers and philologists of the Total Dictation event, said at a press conference at the Tatar-Inform News Agency today.
