The investment program of the “Vodokanal”, approved by the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the RT, made it possible to start 300 events aimed at the reconstruction, modernization and development of the water supply and sanitation system for a period of 12 years. Denis Kalinkin, the head of the Executive Committee, reported this today at the Business Monday. “There are a lot of tasks for the enterprise, all of them are important and must be done without delay”, he marked. </p> <p> </p> <p> The long-term investment program of the “Vodokanal” was developed in conjunction with the Executive Committee, coordinated by the State Tariff Committee in 2016 and approved by the Ministry of Construction of the RT for the period until 2028. The total amount of investment is estimated at 44 billion rubles, said Andrey Egorov, the director of the MUP “Vodokanal”. </p> <p> </p> <p> The objectives of the investment program include the reconstruction of biological sewage treatment facilities, construction of the SPS “Zarechnaya”, the modernization of water intake facilities, the construction of water supply units “Tecevsky”, “Derbyshki”, the construction of engineering networks with pumping stations, and much more. </p> <p> </p> <p> “We have talked about the significance of the SPS “Zarechnaya” for the whole district. Ecological projects implemented on biological sewage treatment facilities are no less important for the city”, noted Denis Kalinkin. The city lived with this unpleasant smell from the moment of creation of treatment facilities, and the remains merged into huge silt fields. </p> <p> </p> <p> “We set ourselves the task to stop it from happening”, said the head of the Executive Committee. “I hope that it will be difficult to find treatment facilities by the smell this year”. </p> <p> </p> <p> The construction of the SPS with supply and discharge collectors has been carried out since November 2016. The commissioning of the pumping station will allow the “Vodokanal” to take an additional 2.5 thousand cubic meters per hour in the first stage. The pumping station will be put into full design capacity in the amount of 20 thousand cubic meters per hour with the completion of the construction of all stages. 650 thousand inhabitants will be provided with normal sewerage. </p> <p> </p> <p> 203 million rubles were allocated from the city budget for the project implementation for biological sewage treatment facilities, 326 million rubles from the budget of the republic, and 44 million rubles from the enterprise. The total cost of the project is 573 million rubles. </p> <p> </p> <p> Also, it is planned to begin construction of a shop for thermomechanical processing of the formed sediment in 2018. “There is a state construction expertise, the cost of these structures of thermomechanical processing of precipitation after it is estimated at 1 billion 499 million rubles”, said Andrey Egorov. “The project will be completed in late March, and the environmental expertise will be in May”. </p> <p> </p> <p> The reclamation work is planned to solve the problem of accumulated sludge at existing sludge areas with a total area of more than 100 hectares, said the director of the MUP “Vodokanal”. Pre-project experimental studies are underway now. As a result, the technology of reclamation will be chosen and a corresponding project will be developed. “Currently, proposals for financing the reclamation project are under consideration for the possibility of inclusion in the targeted programs of the RF and the RT “Improvement of the Volga River”, said the speaker. </p> <p> </p> <p> The Head of the Executive Committee also drew attention to the fact that work was being done to improve the condition of the networks and collectors in the central part of the city and in the settlements. “By small steps, we gradually put the water supply and sewerage system in order. And we can plan these improvements every year thanks to the investment program. This year, great work is to be done in Mirny, next year - in Derbyshki”, noted Denis Kalinkin. </p>
