Kazan international airport served 3 million 470 thousand 742 passengers in 2019, which is 10.5% more than in 2018.
The growth of passenger traffic on domestic air lines is 8% – 2 million 172 thousand 627 passengers were served. Last year, 1 million 298 thousand 115 people were served on international flights. In total, the destination network of Kazan airport consisted of 85 destinations, 45 of them are international.
Sochi, Saint Petersburg and Yekaterinburg have traditionally become popular among domestic destinations. Flights to Moscow, Krasnodar, Ufa, Rostov-on-Don, Novosibirsk and other destinations were in strong demand.
Among international flights, the largest number of passengers – 588 thousand 742- served at Antalya - Kazan - Antalya flights. This is 29.5% more than the previous year. Passenger traffic has increased in such destinations as Prague, Istanbul, and Burgas, the press service of the Kazan airport reports.
