Alexei Sokolov is appointed as the deputy minister of Internal Affairs for the RT

Earlier he held the position of the head of Administration of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Kazan.

(KZN.RU, April 4). Alexei Sokolov, the police colonel, is appointed as the deputy minister of Internal Affairs for the RT - the chief of police. The appropriate Decree was signed by Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation. Earlier Alexei Sokolov held the position of the head of Administration of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Kazan.

Alexei Sokolov was born on May 8 1975 in Zainsk. In 1998 he graduated from the Kazan Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation on the specialty "Jurisprudence". He has been serving in the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs since 1994. Alexei Sokolov was awarded with state and governmental medals.
