May 8: Kazan celebrates the Victory

Rallies, regional holidays, sports events, and concerts will be held in the capital of Tatarstan.

(KZN.RU, May 8). Today, rallies, regional holidays, sports events, and concerts are held in Kazan, as part of the celebration of the 73rd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The festive day will begin at 10 am with a rally and commemoration of veterans of the Great Patriotic War at the obelisk in the territory of the plant “Elecon”.

The solemn celebration of the 73rd anniversary of the Victory with the participation of veterans from all over the republic will take place at the Musa Jalil Opera and Ballet Theater.

A large-scale theatrical performance “Memory and honor to the feat of valor!” will take place at the stadium “Raketa” in the Sovetsky district for the first time. The event will begin at 5 pm. It will be attended by over 1000 amateur artists, more than 500 children will be photographed with their grandfathers and great-grandfathers. The festive event will end with a concert of professional artists and winners of the district's creative competitions.

During the day, festive events and concert programs will be held on the sites of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts in honor of the Great Victory in the house of culture in the settlement “Krasnaya Gorka”, the HoC “Khimikov”, as well as in the teenager's club “Energetik”.
