8 teams will compete for the Russian Water Polo Cup in Kazan

Competitions will be held from 17 to 19 of January in Kazan in the swimming pool “Orgsintez”.

(KZN.RU, January 15). From 17 to 19 of January, a final tournament draw of the Russian Water Polo Cup 2019 will be held in the swimming pool “Orgsintez” in Kazan.

8 strongest men's clubs in the country will attend the competition. For three days of competition, they will compete for one of the oldest and most prestigious trophies of the Russian calendar. The participants of the tournament will be Spartak-Volgograd, Dinamo-TsOP (Moscow), Shturm-2002 (Moscow region), Sintez-UOR (Kazan), Dinamo (Moscow), Dinamo (Astrakhan Region), Sintez (Kazan), and Baltika (St. Petersburg).

The honorary guests of the tournament will be high-ranking leaders, legendary athletes and water polo old-timers of the Russian and world scale, such as Alexei Vlasenko, the President of the Russian Water Polo Federation, Evgeny Sharonov, an Olympic champion, and others, according to the website of the Ministry of Sports of the RT.
