<p> (KZN.RU, June 5). The fifth city book festival “Book-fest-2018” will be held in Kazan on June 6, the birthday of Alexander Pushkin, in the territory of the Lyadskoy Garden. Residents and guests of the city will be presented with a diverse cultural and educational program. </p> <p> </p> <p> Pushkiniana with a unique book content will open the main alley of the garden. Kazan poets and writers will perform classical works for fans of poetry and prose. A creative meeting with the writer Guzel Yakhina, winner of awards “Big Book” and “Clear Glade”, will be on the main stage of the festival. Residents and guests of Kazan will be able to ask questions, get an autograph from the author, reports the Kazan Department of Culture. On the same day, Guzel Yakhina presents her new novel “My Children” in the Kazan City Hall. </p> <p> </p> <p> Citizens will see historical miniatures on the “Book-fest”: the reconstruction of the city manor, board and active games of the XIX century, secular balls. </p> <p> </p> <p> A children's playground “Phillippok” will be organized for the youngest visitors of the festival with literary quest games and contests, role-based readings and quizzes based on the works of L. Tolstoy. In addition, the literary flash mob “Tolstoy for children” will be held. </p> <p> </p> <p> Within the framework of the festival, the Literary dictation will be organized based on the works of Leo Tolstoy. Each participant will be able to test their knowledge. </p> <p> The exposition devoted to the work of the writer Leo Tolstoy, as well as book novelties will be presented in the Summer Reading Room. You could buy the favorite books at the exhibition and sale of books.
