Kazan will host the traditional religious procession on November 4
The believers will march from the Annunciation Cathedral to the Holy Cross Church led by Metropolitan Feofan.
(KZN.RU, October 29, Alina Berezhnaya). November 4th is a holiday in honor of the glorification of the Our Lady of Kazan Icon. There will be a procession in Kazan on this day. Ilnur Shakirov, the head of the Department for the Development of Languages and Interaction with Public Organizations, spoke about the route and program of the celebration at the Business Monday today.
On the eve of the holiday, the All-Night Vigil will be celebrated in Holy Cross Church. On November 4 at 9 am, the solemn liturgy will begin in the Annunciation Cathedral of the Kazan Kremlin. After it, believers will make a religious procession led by Metropolitan Feofan with a miraculous icon from the cathedral, around the Kremlin and through the streets Bauman – Karl Marks – Bolshaya Krasnaya – Mislavsky to the Holy Cross Church.
“Due to this, the roadway of the route will be temporarily closed for traffic and parking of motor vehicles”, said I. Shakirov.
Thus, the road will be closed from 6 am to 1 pm at Mislavsky Street on a site from K. Marks Street to the Bolshaya Krasnaya Street
And from 10 am to 1 pm, on the following streets:
– Kremlevskaya;
– Profsoyuznaya;
– driveway from the 1 May square;
– Bauman street;
– driveway from Baturin street to the Kremlevskaya transport dam;
– Baturin Street;
– Bolshaya Krasnaya Street;
– K.Marks Street;
– Mislavsky Street;
– Yapeev Street.
