May 4: Kazan celebrates the Victory

<p> (KZN.RU, May 4). Today, rallies, district concerts and court holidays will be held in Kazan in honor of the celebration of the 73rd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. </p> <p> </p> <p> At 10 am, solemn rallies will begin at the memorial plaques to the heroes of the Soviet Union A. Bichurin, A. Bondarenko, V. Chuikov, P. Gavrilov, M. Simonov, and M. Syrtlanova at the bust of M. Jalil. At the same time, solemn events are planned for monuments to fallen soldiers in the park of D. Karbyshev, villages Staroye Pobedilovo, Starye Gorki, Krasnaya Gorka, and Borisoglebskoye. </p> <p> </p> <p> The meeting at 10 am at the monument to the defenders of the Fatherland in Zalesny village will continue with a festive concert “Spring! Victory! May!”. The creative collectives of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts will perform at this concert. At 10.30 am, a rally will begin at the monument to fellow countrymen who fell during the Great Patriotic War in the Uritsky Park. At 11 am, the flowers will be placed at monuments in villages Salmachi, Pervomaysky, Kadyshevo, Suhaya Reka, to the memorial plaque to Hero of the Soviet Union I. Kabushkin, the bust of Alexander Umerkin. At 12 pm, the rallies will continue in the Kukushkino village and near the monument to R. Zorge in the Glory Square, and at 1 pm – in the Severny village. </p> <p> </p> <p> At 11 am, the festive event will be held in the cultural center “Moskovsky”. Residents of the Sovetsky district are invited to the concerts “Veterans of our yard” at 5.30 pm in the HoC “Voznesenskoe” at Nardugan Street, №45, and at 6 pm in the HoC “Nagorny” at Lokatornaya Street, №25b. </p>
