Scientific events dedicated to Korea, China, Japan, and Turkey will be held for three days.
(KZN.RU, April 25). From 26 to 28 of April, the Institute of International Relations, History, and Oriental Studies of the KFU will host a series of events in Kazan dedicated to the cultures and languages of Korea, China, Japan, and Turkey. The event is timed to the 200th anniversary of Russian Oriental studies and the Year of Japan in Russia. Within the framework of the forum, the issues of modernization of the educational system of the Russian Federation in the study of Chinese and Korean languages will be reflected. Also, the culture and language of Turkey will be mentioned.
The guests will have an extensive program: discussions on the current state of oriental education, new forms and methods of teaching, and a whole series of open lectures and master classes.
Visitors to the forum will be able to attend two major international conferences the V International Scientific and Practical Conference on Korean Studies and the II International Scientific and Practical Conference on Topical Issues in Teaching Oriental Languages in the XXI century.
In addition, the II All-Russian Olympiad in the Turkish language will be during the forum. The competition will finish with the exhibition and the evening of Turkish culture.
Within the framework of the VI All-Russian Festival of Korean Culture, participants will get acquainted with the traditional and modern life of the country. Also, they will be able to attend open lectures of Mr. Wu Yong Gong, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Russian Federation, and Mr. Ryu Kwan Chol, the vice-rector for International Activities of the University of Sinhan (South Korea).
The II Regional Festival of Japanese Culture will be opened with a series of lectures of the Eastern lecture hall of the KFU. A set of master classes and presentations will be held: a creation of ikebana, playing Japanese checkers, playing traditional musical instruments.
The main event of the forum will be a master class on teaching social and political translation by Larisa Sofronova, the leading teacher of the Diplomatic Academy at the Russian Foreign Ministry. In the showroom of the KFU, a dialogue on the current state of oriental education, new forms and methods of teaching will be held in the format of the discussion with the participation of colleagues from Russian and foreign universities, as well as diplomatic missions.
