The event is dedicated to the International Mother Language Day.
(KZN.RU, February 18). On February 21, the literary and music evening “I Tugan tel” will take place in the literary museum of Gabdulla Tukay, dedicated to the International Mother Language Day.
The main event of the evening will be the opening of an interactive exhibition dedicated to the 110th anniversary of Gabdulla Tukay’s poem “Tugan tel”. The exhibition will be held at several sites. In the literary salon “Tugan tel”, guests will see pictures of artists dedicated to Tukay, audio and video materials related to his poem, illustrations, first publications, different versions of the use of the poem.
The second part of the exhibition will be reflected on the pages of the Tukay’s Literary Museum in social networks. Everyone will be able to take part in the exhibition, supplement it with illustrations to the work “Tugan tel” by sending an e-mail to the museum muztukay@mail.ru or drawing in the museum.
Since 1999, on the initiative of the UNESCO General Conference, the International Mother Language Day is celebrated on February 21 around the world as a reminder of the need to promote the development of multi-ethnic language culture, reports the press service of the National Museum of the RT.
