Kazan athletes brought 14 gold medals from the international tournament in Prague

The Russian national team in aerobic gymnastics became the first in the overall medal standings.

(KZN.RU, March 15). Kazan athletes brought 14 gold medals from the international competitions in aerobic gymnastics FIG (Federation international of gymnastics) in Prague.

Athletes from around the world participated in the Czech Aerobic Open 2019 tournament, including seven Kazan gymnasts: Ramina Khusainova, Taliya Mardanova, Karina Lamzina, Polina Ivanova, Ramina Garipova, Railya Sharafutdinova, and Emilia Liyaskina. The national team was led by Leila Psardia, a coach, the president of the Federation of Sports Aerobics of Kazan.

Having won 14 gold medals in the age category 9-11 years, Kazan athletes contributed to the victory of the Russian team in the overall medal standings. Along with Kazan gymnasts, teams from different regions of Russia performed at the competitions. The second place was taken by the team of Ukraine, the third one went to the Czech Republic, reports the public association “Center for health, sport and culture”.
