New municipal parking lots will start operating in Kazan on November 1

The hourly rate will change on some active parking lots.

(KZN.RU, October 30). On November 1, new paid municipal parking lots will start to operate in Kazan. They will be organized at 41 stations along the road network. The number of parking spaces on the streets of Kazan will increase by 1185. The tariff will change at some existing parking lots.

Tariffs will change in parking lots located on streets Teatralnaya, Svobody Square, Professor Nuzhin. The payment there will be 100 rubles per hour. Drivers will have to pay 70 rubles per hour on streets Profsoyuznaya, Zhukovsky, Gogol, Yapeev, Shchapov, Lieutenant Schmidt, Kavi Najmi, Musa Jalil, and 30 rubles per hour on streets Shakhidi and Kurashov. The new parking lots will cost 50 rubles per hour.

It is possible to pay for municipal parking by SMS to the short number 3116, through a mobile application, as well as through a parking meter installed in the parking area. Also currently available are additional payment methods through the bot of the “Kazansky Parking” community on Vkontakte, and the Yandex. Money and “Sberbank Online”. Payment for parking must be made in advance before parking. The amount of the fine for non-payment is 2500 rubles.

The changes will also affect places for people with disabilities. Now 10% of the space allocated on all municipal parking lots, which is provided free of charge for disabled people of groups I and II. From November 1, persons belonging to Group III will be able to park under the sign “Disabled”. In addition, new rules for issuing car signs come into force. Now they contain information about a person with disabilities. You can get them in the office of medical and social expertise on the application. Places for the disabled will be excluded from the control zone. However, the rules of payment will apply to them if cars of this category of the population will be parked in paid spots. Other cars are not allowed to occupy these parking spots. The penalty for this violation is 5000 rubles.

At the moment, the preparation of new parking areas is carried out. For example, the work is underway to install road signs and parking machines, road markings have already been applied, cars with software and hardware complexes of photo and video recordings have been purchased for monitoring payment for municipal parking lots, reports the Committee on Transport.

From November 1, the one-way traffic will be introduced on the streets Galaktionov and Safyan in Kazan.
