An international contest “Art Podium” will be held in Kazan on November 1 and 2

Participants will show their talents in two categories: piano composition and piano improvisation.

(KZN.RU, October 25). On November 1 and 2, an international competition for composition and improvisation “Art Podium” will be held in Kazan. It takes place in different cities of the world, where participants compete in various nominations. The musicians will show their talents in two categories in Kazan: piano composition and piano improvisation.

On November 1, a tournament of young improvisers will take place in the hall of the children's music school №1 named after Tchaikovsky. Young musicians will present to the audience prepared and impromptu improvisations on topics proposed by the jury, reports the press service of the Kazan Department of Culture.

Young musicians from Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Bugulma, Almetyevsk, Moscow, Tolyatti, Samara, Ulyanovsk, Petrozavodsk, Asbest, Kozmodemyansk, as well as cities of Germany and the Czech Republic will take part in the competition.

The competition will be judged by a representative jury.

The awarding and presentation of the winners will be held on November 2 in music school №5. The concert will end with a performance of the Kazan Improvisation Theater “Improviz-Royal”.
