A school for 1,500 students to be built in the Privolzhsky district of Kazan

This year, construction of a new school for 1,501 students in the Stantsia Sportivnaya residential complex will begin in Kazan. This was announced at the staff meeting by Ilya Korotikhin, Head of the Kazan Department for the Maintenance of Social Institutions. <p> «A construction of a large school in the Stantsia Sportivnaya residential complex is very important for us. A school in a fast-growing area will allow children not to take the bus or parents to sit in traffic to get them to school. Also, a school for 1,500 students will allow unloading neighboring schools», – said Rustem Gafarov, Head of the Kazan Executive Committee. </p> <p> The school will be a part of an educational complex, which will be designed for 2,119 students. </p> <p> The project provides for the creation of a modern educational environment. The school will have a ceremonial hall with 800 seats, a gym with an area of more than 500 square meters, a dance hall, additional education classes and a canteen with 500 seats, which will provide students with hot meals. </p> <p> The active development of the Stantsia Sportivnaya residential complex demanded a construction of a new school. The new school would provide places for the growing number of children in the district. </p>
