The Mayor of Kazan approved the innovations in the preferential loan program, noting that its financing can be increased at the expense of additional budget revenues.
(KZN.RU, March 26, Ekaterina Vislavskaya). In 2018, the implementation of the municipal program for preferential lending to SMB is entrusted not just for one bank-operator, but also for four. The contracts will be concluded with Energobank, Sberbank, Avtogradbank and Bank of Kazan. Acceptance of requests for loans will begin next week. Today, on the Business Monday, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin approved the changes in the municipal program of preferential lending to small and medium-sized businesses and called on to help businessmen, involved in the collection and recycling a waste.
The rate offered by banks on a preferential loan, varies from 10.25 to 10.5% per annum, of which the city budget will subsidize 6%, in other words, for businessmen the rate will be from 4.25 to 4.5% per annum. Loan terms vary depending on the type of activity: representatives of priority business areas will receive a loan for 3 years with subsidization during the first 2 years, and the most important of them- for 5 years with compensation during the first 3 years.
Ilsur Metshin noted that any innovation requires control, so it is necessary to keep this issue on the agenda. The head of the city instructed the Economic Development Committee to inform the media monthly about the program in order to attract more business participants and to hold regular meetings with banks. "Four banks are good. «Bank of Kazan» already have been a participant of this program. It's good that businessmen will have the opportunity to choose between banks and between how loyal and quickly they respond to their requests. However, you are right - money requires accounting, control, and just one desire is not enough, we need a certain package of documents that you need to collect. Nevertheless, that must not turn into seven circles of hell, as I always say! "- said the mayor.
The mayor noted that the amount of funds allocated for the implementation of the program could be increased in the fourth quarter of 2018 due to additional budget revenues. Now, according to the Committee for Economic Development, 85 small and medium-sized businesses continue to receive support for previously issued loans, and the total amount of subsidies granted this year has already reached 3.7 million rubles. In 2018, the budget provides 33.1 million rubles total for these purposes.
