A salary of employees cannot be lower than 9489 rubles per month.
(KZN.RU, January 9). The minimum wage amount in Russia has been increased since January 1, 2018. According to the Federal Law №421-FZ from December 28, 2017 “On Amending Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation Regarding Raising the Minimum Wage to the Living Wage of the Working Population”, this amount reached 9489 rubles per month.
The salary of an employee cannot be lower if the norm of working time labor duties has been fully performed for a month. Additional payments, bonuses, and benefits are also included in this amount, in accordance with Articles 129 and 133 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.
Employees of state and municipal organizations should have the wage of 9489 rubles per month from January 1, 2018, in the case if they have fully worked the monthly standard of working time. Leaders who committed violations will be brought to administrative responsibility in accordance with Article 5.27 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, informs the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the RT.
Previously, the minimum wage amount was 7800 rubles a month.
