Ilsur Metshin congratulated Alfiya Aidarskaya on her 100th birthday

Today, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin met with Alfiya Aidarskaya, the daughter of the composer, actress, and singer Sara Sadykova. The Honored Artist of the TASSR, home front worker and ballerina celebrated her 100^th birthday recently. Despite her golden age, Alfiya continues to lead an active life, participating in Tatar music competitions, festivals, and conducting work to preserve the creative legacy of her parents. Ilsur Metshin congratulated Alfiya Aidarskaya on her birthday.

The Mayor of Kazan expressed his gratitude to Alfiya Aidarskaya for her dedication to art and emphasized that her efforts to preserve the artistic legacy of her parents serve as an example for younger generations and a source of pride for the entire republic. He praised the work of Sara Sadykova, Alfiya's mother, noting her significant contribution to the musical heritage of Kazan and her inextricable connection with the rich cultural heritage of Tatarstan and Kazan.

In her turn, Alfiya Aidarskaya presented the head of the city with a book about her mother “On the Way to Eternity”. Next, they discussed the installation of a monument Sara Sadykova.

Alfiya Aidarskaya has been awarded the medals “For Valiant Labor in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945”, “For Labor Distinction”, and “In Memory of the 1000th Anniversary of Kazan”.
