About 20 thousand people visited the winter festival “KyshDaKar-Fest”

Guests of the fair were Kazan citizens, tourists from Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, France, and the United States.

(KZN.RU, January 8). About 20 thousand people visited the first winter festival “KyshDaKar-Fest” in Kazan for 9 days.

Kazan citizens themselves and also residents of more than 30 cities of Russia, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Ekaterinburg, Ufa, Samara, Cheboksary, Tolyatti, Izhevsk, Urengoy, Vladivostok, became the guests of the fair that was located on Peterburgskaya Street. Also, tourists from Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, France and the United States visited the street festival.

For 9 days of the festival, one ton of different kinds of farmers' cheese was spent for the tasting. Also, the popular products among buyers were kazylyk, cream, handmade chocolate gifts, and hot tea, reports the Tourism Promotion Committee.

The “KyshDaKar-Fest” opened in the center of Kazan on December 29. Over 9 days, 30 outlets have been selling Christmas decorations, gifts, handmade souvenirs, and fresh products from local farmers.
