Ilsur Metshin inspected the cargo before shipment and wished the drivers a safe trip

This year’s seventh humanitarian cargo was sent from Kazan to Lisichansk and Rubezhnoye this year. In five trucks there are 90 tons of goods for the restoration of infrastructure, collected by the Good Kazan fund together with the residents of the city. The dispatch of the column was supervised by the Mayor of the capital of the republic of Tatarstan Ilsur Metshin.

“This year we are sending the seventh humanitarian convoy. There are two trucks of construction materials, glass, household chemicals, long–term storage food items, clothing and medicines – everything necessary for the peaceful life of Lisichansk and Rubezhnoye, – the Mayor said. – We receive feedback, including from drivers who say that residents are waiting and are happy to receive help. We will continue this work.”

Ilsur Metshin thanked caring Kazan residents and entrepreneurs who participate in the collection of humanitarian aid. Alexander Dorofeev, an entrepreneur, provided a facility for a central warehouse on Gorkovskoye Highway. With his support, disinfectants for rodent control were purchased for the humanitarian convoy – this is the first time these items are being sent in such volume.

In total, the Kazan residents managed to collect 40 tons of vegetables, 20 tons of construction glass, 15 tons of baby supplies, household chemicals, medical masks and long-term storage products. Construction materials, auto parts and disinfectants weighing 15 tons were loaded into separate trucks.
